Beyond the Binder is an early childhood education training and consulting company supporting educators and childcare leaders through professional development, CDA training, leadership development, consulting, resources, and professional experiences.

We serve teachers, lead teachers, aspiring leaders, assistant directors, directors, owners, leadership teams, and childcare programs.

We offer CDA training, 2-hour professional development trainings, director and leadership training, customized staff training, and other learning opportunities offered virtually, in person, or in a hybrid format.

Our Birth–5 CDA program includes 120 training hours plus support with coursework, the Professional Portfolio, Competency Statements, Resource Collection, Family Questionnaires, exam preparation, Verification Visit preparation, and next steps in the credentialing process.

Eligible Georgia early childhood educators may qualify for DECAL Scholars funding. Approval is determined by DECAL Scholars, and Beyond the Binder can help guide participants through the process.

Yes. We work with individual educators and entire programs. Support can include customized professional development, leadership development, staff systems, classroom support, organization, compliance support, and center operations.

Yes. Many trainings and services are available virtually, and we offer individual CDA Coaching, CDA Portfolio Support, leadership support, and Center Consulting.
